On last Friday started the biggest Anime-Manga-Convention in Germany called Connichi.
It lasted for three days and was held in Kassel at the Kongress-Palais.
Departure in Bavaria.
There are 490 km on the Autobahn to drive.
What i didn´t know. There where around 17 construction sites on the last 150 km. Very frustrating this is. So i needed 6 1/2 hours instead of 5. O__O
Arrived in Kassel at the Best Western City Hotel at 13:50. Very funny. 10 km before arrival my portable navi thought it could quit the service. Not nice if you don´t know the area where you are and no place to park.
But i arrived safely and then i meet my friends who where waiting at the hotel.
After a bit chittychatty (it´s one year since i saw my friends) we drived to a famous sightseeing point in Kassel called “Herkules”
From there you have a great look over the whole city.
We decided to take our dolls with us and it seems that they enjoyed the tour too. (Logics. They where carried all over the place while we had to walk up and down many many stairs).
We took a walk down the stairs to grab some drinks. It was really hot that day and for me … x__X I havn´t eat anything on the day unless a butter prezel.
We stoped for a small GeoCatch in the near area.
After that we walked the whole stairs upside. Toooooo many stairs.

We drove there because we wanted to take many photos but the whole Monument was under renovation with fences and cranes.
Our legs hurted and we where very hungry.
So we picked up 2 other friends and decided to visit the “Cafe del Sól”. The Food was very good and very much.
A little bit expensive but it was worth it. 
One of the best pizza i´ve eat in my life.

In the Evening we wanted to solve a hard Night GeoCatch. But after 1 1/2 hour we gave up. It was around 22:00 at this time. We decided to go back to the hotel because the next day will be hard enough. xP

In the evening we needed to grab some money again. So we left at around 18:00 the Connichi and looked for a nice quiet place.
We found the oldest restaurant in Kassel and stopped there.
Succesfully bought Alpaca as a present for Mi-Chan.
That was our transportation vehicle. Very nice car but for 3 guys and 2 girls a litte too small.

The first Cosplay i´ve seen from Samurai Girls “Yagyuu Jubei”
It was such a great weekend and we meet a lot of interesting people. Hope i can visit the Connichi next year again.
